Rural Roars Comedy Night at the Hurtwood Inn - What a Night!

Last Wednesday's Comedy Night at the Hurtwood Inn definitely didn't disappoint with a packed crowd, buzzing atmosphere and a wonderful lineup that delivered wall to wall laughs.

Steve McLean was the perfect MC, warming up the room with his quick wit and effortless charm and not even Julie and her Guinea Pig Hotel could faze him. Utterly wonderful.

Opening was Paul Merryck who had the audience in stitches with his brilliantly grumpy humour while Marcus Beeby brought sharp, well crafted punchlines that hit every time. Siobhan Dodd won the crowd over with her "Buy Me A Drink" punchline and headlining was the amazing Don Biswas who is an absolute master of intelligent political satire, personal insights and truly wonderful timing which brought the house down every time.

A huge Rural Roars thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a fantastic evening. If you missed this one, don't worry cos we'll be back on 28 May with another brilliant line up.
